Selected from more than 800 submissions across more than 40 categories, this recognition places dwg. among a distinguished group of firms shaping the future of design in Austin and beyond. The General Excellence category recognizes firms whose work demonstrates consistent design quality, technical rigor, and meaningful impact across multiple projects. For dwg., this acknowledgment reflects a body of work rooted in ecological performance, civic engagement, and long-term stewardship of place. From large-scale urban landscapes and public parks to campuses and cultural installations, the studio’s work is grounded in the belief that landscape architecture plays a critical role in environmental resilience and community well-being.

Finalists were selected by the Austin Home editorial team, with winners to be determined by a panel of national and international design leaders. Winners will be announced in the Spring 2026 Home & Design Awards issue, available April 14.
