dwg. selected to lead the transformation of Pittsburgh’s Allegheny Landing
Located on the north shore of Pittsburgh’s Allegheny River and nestled between two of the city’s iconic Sister Bridges sits Allegheny Landing, one of the nation’s first riverfront sculpture parks. Under the guidance of nonprofit Riverlife, the reinvention of Allegheny Landing presents a phenomenal opportunity to not only reinvigorate an urban riparian environment, but also engage a wider community through a destination that merges art, program, and public space.
We are excited to be partnering with Pittsburgh engineering firm Ethos Collaborative, Austin architecture firm Chioco Design, and many other phenomenal team members to ensure this park becomes a model for an inclusive, engaging, and sustainable public space for the future of Pittsburgh.
Allegheny Landing is part of a larger effort to revitalize the waterfront as a vibrant destination for the city, its visitors, and all of its residents. Read Riverlife’s announcement about their vision for the Sister Bridges Experience.
