WaterWork 2025: When Light and Place Come Together


This past weekend, the Seaholm Intake Facility was transformed. For two nights, the historic structure became a living canvas as WaterWork 2025 unfolded across the waterfront. Fifteen Austin artists projected new stories in light and motion, creating moments where the city’s built edge met the rhythm of the lake.
For us at dwg, being part of this was more than sponsorship. It was an affirmation of what we believe: design has the power to reframe how we see and experience our city. Watching the spectacle and seeing thousands gather along the trail and on the water in canoes, paddleboards, and boats, you could feel Austin’s creative energy at its most generous, free, open, and connected.
