The Backyard at Bell Boulevard

The Backyard is the heart of the new pedestrian-oriented, mixed-use Bell District. Surrounded by residences, restaurants, coffee shops, and a new library, this park provides much-needed community gathering and recreational space for Cedar Park. The park ties seamlessly into the greater system of green space in the district, integrating with the trail system along the rehabilitated Cluck Creek as well as the active streetscapes of the development. With a bit of a rustic edge and laid-back vibe, the park is the active center of the district. It provides space for markets, performances, and outdoor movies, while also encouraging lounging, play, and access to previously inaccessible natural areas.
