Anna Darling
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
Anna is passionate about connecting people with the natural world through thoughtful, imaginative design. Her work explores how landscapes evolve over time — transforming into vibrant, biodiverse, and productive places. She brings a sense of play and wonder to her projects, with a special love for creating spaces that spark curiosity and joy. With deep expertise in custom and nature-based playgrounds, Anna is a Certified Playground Safety Inspector. In addition to her design practice, she shares her knowledge through teaching at Cornell University.
Anna holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. She grew up in the Sonoran Desert — the most biodiverse desert on Earth — in Tucson, Arizona, and now lives in gorgeous Ithaca, New York.
