Originally hailing from St. Louis, Ethan has called Austin home for the past decade. He endeavors to bring his midwestern mindset of well-designed practicality to dwg.'s work. The thrill of finding thoughtful, multi-faceted solutions within the unique constraints of each project keeps him looking forward to every day at the office – not to mention the allure of what new ideas have yet to be uncovered.

He is also driven by the desire to help bring projects to life that add value to a community's cultural landscape. Ethan finds synthesizing a site and context with the vision of the client and design team to create exceptional spaces a collaborative challenge worth pursuing.

When not at work, Ethan enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, brewing kombucha, and riding his bicycle around town to concerts & the movies.
