Hollie Bordelon
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
Hollie’s experience covers all steps of the design process, beginning with city permitting management and progressing through design to construction observation. Showing careful attention to detail, Hollie exhibits great technical skill and brings an acute awareness of practicality to conceptual landscape visions. She takes pride in creating places for people to experience that are simultaneously functional and inspired.
When she is not in the studio, Hollie spends much of her time managing the ranchito she shares with her husband, which consists of a late 1800′s restored farmhouse on seven acres north of Manor. The land has been certified restored organic farmland, and includes an impressive vegetable garden and bat house. Putting sustainable land management practices into place, the farm boasts miniature donkeys, goats and chickens to contribute to the ranch animal life, which is also made up of three dogs, a barn cat and the occasional unwelcome rattlesnake.
Hollie has a passion for Pets Alive!, a nonprofit organization in San Antonio, devoted to promoting and providing the resources, education and programs needed to eliminate the killing of companion animals housed in urban shelter systems.
