As a licensed architect with design and management experience across institutional, hospitality, mixed-use, and residential projects, Kailen’s interest for design extends well beyond the boundaries of buildings. Guided by a philosophy of lifelong learning and curiosity, she strives to craft work with intention and thoughtful detail.

Kailen earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech, where she spent a semester studying abroad in Europe and completed her fifth year at the Washington-Alexandria Architecture Center. After practicing in Austin and Denver, she now works remotely from hardy Wisconsin, where she enjoys baking, knitting, and hiking — always on the lookout for two trees to hang a hammock.
