Katharine’s design philosophy is founded on her undergraduate studies in sociology and subsequent landscape design and installation experience in the Central Texas area. Her desire to create a sense of place through the creative process lends itself to creative solutions that become meaningful and memorable when continuously focusing on the user experience.

A native Texan, Katharine has been in the Austin area for close to 15 years, gaining experience in the non-profit sector as a program director and canoe guide, a bookkeeper for local and national businesses, and as an entrepreneur as a residential landscaper.

In her spare time, she enjoys getting on the water (just about anywhere), exploring parks and cities, crafting, and rearranging her porch!
