Before joining dwg., Pamela gained her experience working at a playground company learning the importance of universal playground design. Her past work led her to adjust her design philosophy as more than just creating spaces for everyone to enjoy, but to create inclusive spaces for all. Although accessible design can be interpreted in many ways, she strives to look at these issues as opportunities to create diverse environments.
Raised as an Ohio Midwesterner, Pamela received her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University, where she worked as a full time co-op at a local landscape architecture firm. During this time she was introduced to the 3D modeling world, and has continued working with that medium ever since.
Out of the office you can easily find Pamela buying more houseplants that she doesn’t need, walking to her favorite boba tea spot, or at home practicing the art of macramé making. She’s excited to be here in Austin and is happy to finally leave the Ohio winters behind her.
