Raquel is a versatile and design-driven architectural designer with a passion for shaping environments that connect people to places. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Architecture, she brings a strong foundation in both conceptual design and technical execution, with experience spanning residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

Joining dwg., Raquel expands her focus to the integration of architecture and landscape, bringing a thoughtful, human-centered approach to outdoor environments and the spaces between buildings. Her work reflects a sensitivity to context, materials and the natural environment.

A LEED Green Associate and bilingual in English and Spanish, Raquel combines technical fluency with a collaborative, strategic mindset. She approaches each project with curiosity, precision, and a deep commitment to sustainable, place-based design.

Outside the office she enjoys long bike rides, playing soccer, foraging for mushrooms (mainly to take pictures of them!), and subjecting her friends to her elaborately themed mystery parties.
