Steve Meyers
DIRECTOR OF DESIGN TECHNOLOGY
Throughout his career, Steve has always been excited to apply technology into the creative process. Being a lifelong learner, he is first to try new applications to achieve innovative solutions. He believes the best results are achieved through an iterative process of discovery and utility, and in today’s complex environment, workflows involving one or more applications are necessary to accomplish mission critical tasks. As an innovator, he is constantly searching for more robust strategies for creativity to flourish.
Steve graduated with a B.S.in Architecture from RPI in upstate New York and moved to Austin to pursue a career and enjoy the central Texas region. As an Architect, he learned the value of collaboration working on many types of projects. Having started off hand drafting, he is self-taught in AutoCAD and Revit. He quickly realized the potential for Revit’s Building Integrated Modeling (BIM) to allow designers to gain advantages over traditional methods. His enthusiasm for these tools is now central to what he brings to the team.
Since Austin is the 'Dog Capital of the World,' you can frequently find Steve with his trusty companion on long walks or just relaxing at one of the many parks. You can also find him on the back porch reading and tossing a ball.
