Victor Butcher
DESIGNER
Victor grew up with the rocks and cedar in Helotes, Texas. He traveled up the road to study architectural engineering at the University of Texas at Austin and was captivated by the community’s spirit of hope and thoughtful pragmatism. The fiery debates over how best to deal with Austin’s explosive growth inspired him to earn a master’s degree in community and regional planning.
Before joining dwg., Victor worked in planning and urban design, helping put together master plans, zoning codes and design guidelines for new communities around Central Texas, with an emphasis on integrating trees and landscape into urban environments.
Outside of work, Victor enjoys biking around town and going to concerts with his friends.
